Best Table Service Dining in the Walt Disney World Parks

People so often think that Walt Disney World is all about the rides and the characters. They think “It is a big amusement park- the food can’t be that good!” And this is where they are wrong! Walt Disney World has incredible dining offerings to please any palate. I am a big fan of table service dining. It is a nice way to take a break from the park. There is a variety of table service dining options through the Walt Disney World Resort. But like everyone, I have favorites! Let’s explore what my favorite table service restaurants each park has to offer.

No Disney trip is complete without a visit to Magic Kingdom. While there, you can enjoy two of my top dining choices for vacations to Walt Disney World.

First is one of my absolute favorites on property, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper’s Canteen. Located in Adventureland, you can enjoy unique cuisine with a Jungle Cruise touch. The restaurant is themed as the headquarters for the Jungle Cruise Skippers! And the skippers have a great sense of humor. Here you can indulge in dishes with Asian, South American, and African flair. You can find meals for both adventurous eaters and those who prefer a more traditional option. The falafel and thai noodles are two of my favorites!

Next we have a Disney classic, Cinderella’s Royal Table. Here you will be treated like the prince or princess that you really are! Soak in beautiful views of Fantasyland from the Grand Hall. You will really feel like you have been transported into a fairytale while dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Start your meal off with a charcuterie board. Enjoy an entree fit for royalty. You can choose from luxurious dishes like the braised lamb shank or the chef’s fish of the day. Finish your meal with the special dessert “The Clock Strikes Twelve”, a dark chocolate mousse with ganache.

There are so many quick food options at Epcot, especially when traveling through World Showcase. You don’t want to miss out on the amazing options available for table service.

One of my must-do stops is Biergarten Restaurant. You can find Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion in the World Showcase. This themed dining experience will make you feel like you are celebrating Oktoberfest right in the middle of Munich. The polka band will keep you dancing and singing in your seat. Your meal at Biergarten will be served family style. Here you can try traditional German dishes like bratwurst, schnitzel, and spaetzle. Make sure to leave room for dessert, too! Guests 21 and older can enjoy a wide selection of beers and wines.

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is truly the hidden gem of Epcot. This cozy wine cellar has over 200 types of wine and an incredible small plates menu. Tutto Gusto is the perfect place to cool off from the sun and unwind with your party. Stop in for appetizers, a snack, or a full meal. Here you can enjoy cheese and meat plates. You can also indulge in Italian specialities like gnocchi and tagliatelle. End your meal with tiramisu or the Nutella chocolate cake!

Hollywood Studios has so much to offer its guests. From Galaxy’s Edge to Toy Story Land, you can spend your day with many different adventures. Let’s discover my top restaurants there!

50’s Prime Time Cafe is a hilarious, immersive dining experience that will send you right back to Mom’s kitchen. You can eat traditional American-style meals, but be sure to be on your best behavior! Your host or hostess will make sure your elbows are off the table and that you finish your meal if you want dessert. You can even watch old TV shows in the great setting of the 50s kitchen. You can have homemade classics like fried chicken, pot roast or meatloaf. Or, try them all with “A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes”! The theming in this restaurant will send you back to a simpler time and the Cast Members will be sure to give you a good laugh!

If you are looking for more of an upscale meal, try Hollywood Brown Derby. This restaurant is modeled off of the original Brown Derby in California. Here you will feel like you are an old-time Hollywood star. There are numerous specialty cocktails to choose from. Select a timeless classic for your meal like Angus filet mignon or salmon. Everyone will be able to find something that they like at this table service restaurant.

Animal Kingdom allows you to travel to exotic lands, and the food is no different! This park has such an assortment of unique dining options that will challenge your taste buds.

Another dining location my family and I love is Yak & Yeti. Located near Expedition Everest, Yak & Yeti offers its diners Pan-Asian cuisine. This beautiful restaurant is covered in true Asian artifacts. The explorer in you will not be disappointed by the culture you will be surrounded by while enjoying your meal. Start with small plates or shareables, like the ahi tuna nachos. For your entree, select a noodle bowl, a wok creation, or a speciality dish like chicken tikka masala.

Nomad Lounge offers small plates and specialty cocktails to those who visit. Enjoy your dishes on the patio and soak in the beautiful surrounding view. Here you can eat tapas style dishes, like Nomad bowls or Impossible Meat sliders. With a wide variety of cocktails, wine and beer, this lounge is the perfect place to have a quick bite with a great drink.

Food is a huge part of any vacation. You want to make sure that you are enjoying your meals to the fullest, no matter where you are!
